General information

 

All our guides are Swiss Cycling certified and/or qualified by ESV and are authorized to work all year round.

 

Cancellation

 

  1. Cancellation by a customer: In general, muddy or snowy conditions or bad weather are not a valid reason for a cancellation. Cancellations due to bad weather are not possible.
  2. Cancellation by a guide: A cancellation is only justified if the risk is too high for the clients. In this case, no charge applies to either party and the lesson or tour is postponed to a later date.
  3. Group lesson cancellation: Group lessons are only guaranteed from 4 participants, if the group lesson is canceled for this reason then the customer will be fully refunded*.

– In case of cancellation 30 to 3 days before the outing: 50% of the total cost will be charged. 
– In case of cancellation 72 hours or less before the outing: 100% of the total cost will be charged.

If a multi-day trip is canceled 90 days or less before the start date, the deposit and balance will only be refunded if the space can be filled by another customer.

 

Training

 

For your own safety, we would like you to have proper cycling technique and good physical condition. Please note that for all our trips or tours we insist on regular training The operator ESV Ecole Suisse de VTT – reserves the right to modify a reservation or, exceptionally, to replace the chosen guide.

 

Responsibility

 

The reason for the existence of ESV Ecole Suisse de VTT is solely to connect customers with a professional Swiss mountain bike guide. ESV Ecole Suisse de VTT is not responsible in the event of an accident. Liability in the event of an accident is the responsibility of the guide hired directly by the client.

Reasons for data collection

 

The processing of your personal information (meaning any information that could potentially allow you to be identified by reasonable means.

When you use the Site, you agree to the collection, storage, use, disclosure and other uses of your Personal Information as provided in this Privacy Policy.

Conservation

 

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. The retention periods will be determined according to the type of information collected and the purpose of its collection, taking into account the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy obsolete and unused information as soon as possible. Pursuant to applicable laws and regulations, we will retain records containing customer personal information, account opening documents, communications and any other required information. 

 

We may correct, complete or delete incomplete or incorrect information at any time and at our sole discretion.

Marketing

 

We may use your Personal Information, including your name, email address, telephone number, etc., ourselves or through sub-contractors to provide you with promotional content regarding the services which we believe , might interest you.

 

Out of respect for your right to privacy, we include in this promotional content the means to opt out of receiving new promotional offers from us. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your email address or phone number from our marketing distribution lists. 

 

Please note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing emails from us, we may send you other types of important communications by email without giving you the opportunity to opt out. These may include customer service messages or administrative notifications.

We reserve the right to periodically change or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy.
